Page Under Construction

As a designer with over a decade of experience, I have accumulated an enormous body of work that spans various industries. This page showcases select projects that highlight my most recent clients. I’m continually seeking to expand with new projects, so if you’re interested – I’d love to hear from you.

CITGO

CITGO Store Renders

I was given the opportunity to create marketing renders for new store front façades aimed at CITGO potential buyers. To ensure maximum impact, I adapted several design options tailored specifically for our marketing team. This involved using images from Google Maps and various low-res sources to build a realistic representation. The designs were based on images and feedback from developers and on-site build teams located across the US, ensuring that each render was both accurate and achievable.

Actual CITGO Store Redesign

Vintage CITGO

I illustrated a character named Les Friction, drawing inspiration from vintage illustrated CITGO product packaging. Alongside this, I created a vintage-inspired logo to complement the character for the 100-year celebration of Mystik, ensuring both elements harmonized. The process involved studying various packaging designs to capture the nostalgic charm of vintage CITGO.

Mystik Promotional

As a designer, I was tasked with supporting and designing for all CITGO marketing efforts and its affiliated companies, including Mystik. One of the highlights was a great opportunity to create a custom sample grease packaging design. During the project, I wrote design briefs and sought out talented illustrators to create custom coasters, which were included in the packaging to add a unique touch.

During my time at CITGO, I designed multiple billboards which were showcased both locally and nationwide, contributing to CITGO’s marketing reach. For the Safety and Excellence Team, I designed awareness posters to promote safety and excellence within the company. I also created artwork for CITGO’s National STEM Day shirts, developed the Retail Connections resource and created POS installation guides to help CITGO retailers update their in-store software. I redesigned name tags for retail station employees and designed a custom B2B mailer targeted at new station owners and others. Lastly, I created programs for marketers and retailers, providing current CITGO station owners with valuable reference materials.

Collaborating with the design team, I worked on campaign guides, designed a custom mural for the corporate wall and we collaborated on the Street Smarts promotional marketing pamphlet.

ExxonMobil

Horizon

Horizon is a proprietary project and the product of the Decision Quality and Technology team at ExxonMobil. The team was tasked to create a cloud-based data system that would give transparency of information across the organization to make better, more informed decisions as a global entity. Due to the sensitive nature of this application and the data it housed, I’m unable to show this entire project’s design or any associated efforts.

RightConcept

Right Concept is the product of the Decision Quality and Technology team at ExxonMobil. With focus on the employee-informative approach to understanding the science of decision making, the Right Concept site aimed to build a bridge between everyday business decisions and understanding impact on the overall company goals.

I was brought on to help with the development of their internal team site, support marketing and awareness efforts and support other applications and effort under the DQ umbrella

During my time on the Right Concept project, I created decision quality videos to facilitate the team’s awareness efforts to the business about making informed choices. Additionally, I developed an internal team website using Vue3, featuring a custom Pinterest-style resource library. I also crafted marketing videos with custom voiceovers and designed stickers and various promotional items to support the team’s marketing efforts.

PDT Internal Team Site

The Planning and Decision Technology team is the umbrella group for Right Concept and home of Decision Quality at ExxonMobil. The team holds many applications, informative resources and team awareness trainings inside XOM. As a part of this project, I was able to design two website options and ended up developing the second option as an internal website for the team’s ongoing efforts. Due to the sensitive nature of this project and in respect of the teams wishes, I’m unable to show this entire project.

iTom

I was brought into Halliburton under the iTom team as a designer, where my role eventually transitioned to videography. I created Quick Start explainer videos for iTom software, highlighting new features, and produced videos for learning sessions to simplify onboarding efforts. Each video included a custom Halliburton opener. Additionally, I designed user guides for Halliburton drilling tool software and iTom software to support user understanding and engagement.

SMDC

Currently, I am working as a user experience designer on the SMDC team, with a focus on the InSite Modernization effort. My responsibilities include improving user interaction and user experience across multiple platforms and applications.

SMDC oversees the integration of multiple applications within the Sperry environment. Since joining the SMDC team, I’ve provided my UI/UX services to various applications, including DrillingXpert, Geometry db, iCruise, iMotors, and Tool Limits. As part of my role, I’ve been lent out to other teams for ongoing creative services. One such project is Digital DOS, which aims to streamline the Digital Service Agreement compiling process at Halliburton and provide real-time data to engineers on the ground. As my work progresses, my aim is to enhance user experience and interface design across these applications and more.

InSite Modernization

The InSite Modernization project aims to reorganize and restructure current internal workflows to simplify drilling procedures across multiple applications and platforms within Halliburton. The creation process began with multiple meetings involving drawing and whiteboarding sessions, which led to the development of digital user workflows. I hosted and recorded user interviews, taking extensive notes to gather valuable feedback. Through research, I developed insights into the current workflows of boots-on-the-ground user groups. My responsibilities currently include building out future workflows for potential application integrations with future wireframing, A/B testing and more. I look forward to working with our developers to pinpoint needed data and troubleshoot the integration of other systems with custom APIs.
