ExxonMobil
Breeze is a Vue 3 packaged development created by Luiz Barreto for ExxonMobil. It combines Tailwind CSS, Vue JS and the proprietary programming language of XOM, Unity. Exxon’s internal standards for applications and styles, named Standard, was implemented across the organization – however, many of the applications and sites were missing a packaged solution that was easily implemented. That’s where Breeze came in.
During the introduction of Breeze, there was a clear need for simple to understand videos to explain, in everyday terms, how to implement, begin or understand what Breeze was, how it should behave and what to expect. It was designed not only for new applications, but older and much more complex systems as well.
I was able to collaborate with Luiz and create a series of videos for that guidance. The opportunity also gave me a guinea pig advantage to test drive Breeze, learn Vue 3 and create my teams own internal site at ExxonMobil. Through this effort, I was able to further my development skills at Exxon and further push the modernization of vintage applications.
